How much in Japanese yen
JPY 156,000

Points

  • 1 US dollar = JPY 156, 1 euro = JPY 179, 1 Chinese yuan = JPY 23
  • They are a benchmark for companies that deal in foreign money when they convert it into Japanese yen
For example: At JPY 156 to the US dollar, a purchase of USD 1,000 comes to JPY 156,000. If it were JPY 150 to the dollar it would be JPY 150,000, so the same purchase would differ by JPY 6,000.
